They would often venture around the village, interacting with those who had decided to follow her husband into the unknown. As he handled the business portion of establishing a new village, his wife, Lidia, along with his growing son, Hineski, connected with the people. Higoru was a great leader, was well loved by his people and managed to push the moon village into a new future. They built shrines to their Teachings, statues of both Hamura and Higoru, as thanks for the second chance these men had given to them. Here they prospered, living off of the land, and enjoying the life they had been giving. Once they settled, they began to build Gekkousato, the Village under the moon light.

It took several years for them to finally find a suitable place, but they kept pushing forward, putting their trust in their leader. Higoru followed the teachings of Hamura, and as such, so did most of those who decided to follow him into the wilderness. After him and his brother decided to split the village they had been given by their father, he led his followers deep into the eastern jungle, finding refuge on a large mountain top, where they began to rebuild.

Higoru was the more relaxed son, he believed in free will, pleasure and the pursuit of ones own dream. The village under the moon was founded by Higoru, one of two sons born to the great Otsutsuki Hamura. As he ruled, he also made sure to raise his children properly, instilling within them values and traditions that he believed in, raising them and conditioning them to one day take the mantle.

Homura would soon marry, and have children of his own, a son and a daughter. It did not take long to see that the sun village was going to be successful. Homura was a strong, brave and caring leader, who always put his people first. While life was rough in the desert, the village flourished, and the member who called the sun village lived in peace. Here he established Nikkousato, and quickly went to building his new home. So Homura traveled west, and eventually landed up in the far desert on the coast. They would remain allies, but create two separate villages in which they could rule their own way. So it was decided, each brother would split the village, one would go east and the other west. However it was soon apparent that the brothers could not get along, and had issues ruling together. Due to the legendary beast, the village had to flee, and both brothers guided them into the wilderness in search of a new home. This was a problem, as their father had left them the village he led. He and his brother did not see eye to eye on what it meant to be a leader, or what the proper way to rule was. He was a man of strength, and valued hard work over the simple pleasures of life. Unlike his brother, who was calm and easy going, Homura was a strict man, he believed in honor, tradition and discipline. The Village hidden under the Sun was founded by one of two brothers, Homura, son of Otsutsuki Hamura.
